Job Description: As a Petroleum Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data related to petroleum production, reserves, and exploration activities. You will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes within the organization. Responsibilities: * Analyze data on petroleum production, reserves, and exploration activities. * Prepare reports, presentations, and financial models to support decision-making processes. * Collaborate with various departments including accounting, engineering, finance, business development (BD), and land. * Assist in evaluating potential investments, acquisitions, and divestitures. * Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the oil and gas industry. * Provide support for senior-level M&A, divestiture, land management, and commercial business development projects. * Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, geology, finance, accounting, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in petroleum analysis or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. * Knowledge of petroleum production processes, reserves estimation techniques, and exploration methodologies. * Experience with financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
